Ruaral ness

I guess I’ve always known I’m a country girl. Its been exciting to move to an ‘apartment’ Ive never lived in an apartment, but having spent 4.5 years in an idyllic Oxfordshire village or two it was always going to be different! I miss the darkness and the quiet. There are only a few street lights here and after catching up on this weeks Dr who I’m enjoying a bit of light when I go to sleep. But I am missing the rolling green countryside. Exploring this weekend we are a short distance away from rural life. there are field after field of corn – I’m not sure what winter will look like, stark I guess – maybe that’s where the name comes from? GOT? anyways, there aren’t may rolling hills but the expanse of empty fields and space is immense. Its been fun enjoying a different landscape, certainly looks different!
